A concise and easy method of preserving subjects of Natural History intended for the use of sportsmen, travellers etc, etc, to enable them to collect and prepare such ‘Curious and Rare Articles’ as they wish to preserve, or send in transit safely to any part of the world.
This series specifically explores the expanding rage in the in the early 1800’s for collecting natural and artificial curiosities from far distant lands; and the vessels that were made to transit the specimens, or relics, back to Europe from the colonies.
