Jewellery Studio About

My studio is nestled next to Banyowla Regional Park, a biodiverse hotspot of the Perth foothills in Beelo Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar, Western Australia, on our family’s generational homestead.

My studio being immersed in Western Australia’s  landscape, with it’s unique flora and fauna inspires my work, and working methods.

Returning to the studio after my medical injury, became a place to forge a new identity, of tangible neuroplasticity, exploring the peripheries of what a damaged body can do; and of re-learning how to safely navigate my world.

My studio, I share with my father, overlooks a paddock of kangaroos with regular visits from the endangered red and black cockatoos.

The foothills come alive with spectacular flowers in Spring, bringing with it the diverse colour palette of our two distinct Noongar seasons –  Djilba (August – September) Kambarang (October – November). Winter brings us large bonfires and our winter creek. The constant flowing of the easterly wind in Summer, with jammy figs from our 100 year old trees. Autumn has our Easter festivities, linking my Australian and Polish heritage.

The studio is my place of sanctuary and of literal therapy.
